She changes her look, finds work as a chambermaid and makes friends with a youn...。故事开始于18世纪末，当时夏威夷群岛上的四大岛——夏威夷岛、毛伊岛、瓦胡岛和考爱岛——处于战争状态。该剧讲述毛伊岛的一位战争酋长（阿利伊）卡伊阿纳的故事。他曾远行海外，被誉为“世界上最著名的夏威夷人”，随后返回家乡，加入一场血腥的征战。但在最后关头，他背叛卡美哈美哈一世统一夏威夷的进程。这场统一战争发生在1782年—1810年。。
