曾经走过很长的一段路，小时候的吴峰因为母亲的离开，仍然活在记忆中，吴峰的伤害仍在继续，他只有每天混沌的过着每一天。他用自己的方式反复寻觅着母亲的影子、只是选择性的遗忘了一些不美好的人和事，但对母亲的记忆却随着年龄的增长越来越清晰、思念也越发强烈。但母亲的脸在记忆中却越来越模糊不清，在吴峰唯一拥有的他和母亲的半张合照中，母亲的脸却是被抠掉的，这些细节，反而令吴峰越发的想要追回对母亲和对童年的记忆。吴峰利用一台老式的胶片照相机拍到记忆中相似的背影等等。。。。故事讲述在一个威权体制（an authoritarian regime）逐渐瓦解的府邸（the palace）内，一年时间里发生的事情。。Monk and his friends arrive in New York to locate the man whom they were told has information about Trudy's murder. When they arrive at the hotel, the Latvian ambassador who is also staying there is killed. Monk saw the killer but only his ear. So he tries to help the NYPD solve the case hoping they will help them find the man. When Monk goes downtown, he gets lost and gets swe...。
