Med Hondo uses this tracking shot to establish the sett...。东庄农业生产合作社副社长鲁淮生从县里开会回来后，向社员提出：挖通老龙沟，把洼地变稻田。社员都表示赞成，但保守怕事的社长章明楼认为冬季应抓副业。挖老龙沟一旦达不到预想的目的，即费钱又费力。章明楼的计划得到了上级区委方政委的支持，鲁淮生的计划却被压了下来。偶然一次，鲁淮生发现章明和会计福顺到邻村套买肥猪以非法获得的事，并将此事反映到了方政委那里，方政委认定鲁淮生是个人英雄主义作怪，反命令他停职反省。但淮生没有放弃自己的信念，经过多方努力，淮生开垦老龙沟的计划终于得到了县委书记王政委的支持。全体社员都兴高采烈火地参加了老龙沟的挖掘工作。。
