寅次郎的家人要到九州度假，寅次郎留下看守着店铺。家人回来后，一位老朋友柳文彦介绍他的妹妹律子给寅次郎，而寅次郎即时爱上律子，可是律子是一个艺术家，没有闲情去处理寅次郎的爱意。。Herzog takes a film crew to the island of Guadeloupe when he hears that the volcano on the island is going to erupt. Everyone has left, except for one old man who refuses to leave. Herzog catches the eeriness of an abandoned city, with stop lights cycling over an empty intersection.。
