于8月10日上线﹑Jeremy Bronson主创的Netflix新喜剧《All About The Washingtons》是根据Rev Run/Joseph Simmons及Justine Simmons经历改编的自传式家庭喜剧，剧中传奇说唱歌手Joey Washington（Rev Run饰）退下来后，他的妻子Justine决定借此追求个人事业，而Joey则要肩负起照顾孩子，保持家中秩序的责任。孩子角色由Kiana Ledé﹑Nathan Anderson﹑Leah Rose Randal及Maceo Smedley饰演。。Disarmingly realistic in its depiction of the realities of frontier life, Heartland is a strong antidote to the cliches of traditional Westerns. This semi-documentary slice of life is based on the diaries of Elmore Randall Stewart about her days on the Wyoming frontier in the early 20th century. It's a strongly feminist statement about a woman raising her small daughter alone and scrapping for a living by working for a shy Scottish rancher. Director Richard Pearce brings an endearing touch to a film that is helped greatly by the dazzling cinematography of Fred Murphy. Conchata Ferrell and Rip Torn star in this small film that substitutes veracity for a high-powered plot. Pearce worked as a cinematographer on Woodstock and other documentaries before making his directorial debut. Winner of the 1980 Berlin Golden Bear at the Berlin Film Festival。
