叶风本是为大夏追回无数国宝的英雄，但为了完成任务，他隐姓埋名七年，甘愿以拾荒收破烂来隐瞒身份。在追回第一国宝之后，叶风功成身退，准备和未婚妻徐婉如完婚，同时准备在国宝大会上，将所有国宝，上交给大夏。。Set in the 1950s in the fictional village of Kembleford, the series follows Roman Catholic priest Father Brown who has a knack for solving crimes. He is assisted by parish secretary Bridgette McCarthy and is often a source of frustration for the local police.。
