(Strugatsky Brothers website) NOTES This is a crime / mystery thriller with surreal and psychedelic science fiction overtones based on a book Inspector Glebsky's Puzzle by the Strugatsky brothers. The screenplay was also written by the brothers and it differs from the book. The less you know about the movie the better starting point you have. The film is based largely on the mystery of what's happening to the people of Dead Mountaineer's Hotel. Is everything what it seems? Who's dead or who's not?。故事发生在十年前，姜冲（吕颂贤饰）在一次食神大赛中意外缺席，自此隐姓埋名成为了一名潜水教练。宽少对姜冲这一行为十分气愤，一直对姜冲怀恨在心。十年后宽少（邵传勇饰）因姜冲的离去，面临店倒关门的窘境。宽少在自己的店中被神秘人绑到上海，在教堂中意外地遇到了好兄弟姜冲。宽少想到当年姜冲的临阵脱逃，正准备对姜冲剑拔弩张之时，神秘人现身，正是他们的大哥波哥（吴启华饰），气氛这才得以缓和。三人一见如故，忆往昔峥嵘。波哥为了找回当时三人的兄弟情深，于是出资开了一家素食火锅店，便悄悄离开。与此同时马一刀在一次“夜袭火锅店”时，不小心打碎了镇店之宝。为了作为赔偿，马一刀被迫签下了卖身契。本故事围绕着宽少，姜冲，马一刀花愿四人展开…。影片讲述一对生活失意的闺蜜在旅行散心的途中遇到一位帅哥，两人开始使尽浑身解数博得他的好感，闺蜜从此变仇人…。
