I Saw the Sun (Güneşi Gördüm) is a Turkish film by Mahsun Kırmızıgül. In the film two brothers go on opposite sides in a Turkish-Kurdish conflict| it opened at the number one position at the Turkish box office in 2009. The film was announced as the Turkish submission to the Academy Award for Best Foreign Language Film in September 2009.。少年阿盛于机缘巧合下学厨于荣叔，因得罪香港西餐主厨被迫北上。在北京丽城酒店，阿盛尽显其才。然而在一次职场变故后，阿盛意识到自己真正追求的是一个厨师的本职。于是他重整旗鼓，开始了自己的餐饮事业。。
