《尖刀》是一部年代戏。说的是新中国成立前夕一支尖刀队与敌斗智斗勇，巧妙周旋，最后克敌制胜的故事。 大户人家的小姐龚紫英她爱上了一位潜伏在国民党内部的中共地下党。为了自己的丈夫和政治主张，最终她献出了年轻的生命。。好吃懒做的游方僧来到小庙，小庙里开始发生了变化。。Restoration carried out by the National Museum of Singapore and the World Cinema Foundation. In association with the Konfiden Foundation and Kineforum Jakarta Arts Council. The film was restored from the original print kept at the Indonesian Cinematheque.
